3D geological modelling in exploration and mining

Tailored in-house & on-site intensive workshops
Take advantage of the latest software and create robust 3D models

In this two-day course you’ll gain hands-on experience using the workflows required for creating geological and grade models typically used in exploration and resource assessments. Examples will be taken from different deposits, including narrow vein and stratiform deposits to demonstrate various techniques.
You will learn:
  • How to incorporate mapping and structural data
  • How to visualise and evalute exploration data in 3D
  • The process of developing geological models and grade models
  • Best practices for undertaking exploration planning and drill targeting in 3D
Who should attend?
This course is designed for geologists who want to engage with the latest software to develop 3D models for greenfields and brownfields exploration and resource estimation.
Date and time:
This is a custom course that can be tailored to your company's needs. Please send us a request with suitable date and location and we will get back to you to discuss further details.
