Blair's experience includes mapping deformed Archean and Paleoproterozoic terranes, containing all major types of volcanic, sedimentary, and intrusive rocks and ranging from subgreenschist to granulite metamorphic grade.
Blair has broad experience with the regional geological setting of mineral deposits and specific experience evaluating the structural controls of Archean lode gold deposits and showings. He has a special interest in the compilation and integration of diverse data sets including lithogeochemistry, regional magnetic and gravity data, satellite imagery and mapping-based structural and lithologic data to understand the evolution and geometry of complex, mineralized terranes and to aid in GIS-based prospectivity analyses.
