Felipe Sanz

He has participated in several open pit projects and provided technical support for waste dump and underground mining projects.

Felipe has experience in geotechnical design and numerical analysis of open pits, including data analysis, geotechnical domain definition, bench-berm design, rock fall evaluation, macroblock analysis, slope stability and design optimization. He also performs risk assessment for open pits, reviewing the information, proposing acceptance criteria, and providing recommendation, monitoring and mitigation measures.

Felipe is an experienced user in Rocscience software, SBlock, and has experience in Itasca software (mainly UDEC, but also Flac3D and 3DEC) and Leapfrog. He also has experience programming in python and VB.NET, doing data analysis and automatization of processes. He has provided training courses of Slide2D and RS2 for technical personnel in various mines, and university classes.
