Justin’s mine planning and engineering expertise includes all aspects of strategic mine planning, such as pit optimization, phasing, and optimized pit scheduling; tactical mine planning including detailed phase designs, dilution and reconciliation estimates, reserve reporting, haulage calculations, and production scheduling. He is also an experienced project manager in leading various engineering systems optimization projects.
He has contributed to technical reports at all levels, for due diligence and engineering studies. He has provided operational support for active mines by developing short-range, long-range, and strategic mine plans; auditing and improving ore control systems, and performing reconciliation on mine plans and geologic models. Additionally, he is well versed in environmental and permitting requirements, having developed Plan of Operations permit applications and Waste Rock Management Plans, assisted with geochemical modeling, and provided Mine Reclamation Bond Estimates.
