Paul’s areas of expertise include groundwater characterisation, mine dewatering assessment, mine waste seepage analysis and solute migration, and groundwater impact assessment. Paul is experienced in providing water management solutions for mining, waste management, soil and groundwater contamination. He has experience in a wide range of groundwater systems ranging from complex fractured hard rock to unconsolidated superficial sediments.
Paul has a broad field experience used to deliver field programmes as well as staff training across the globe methods such as sample collection, hydraulic tests such as packer, pumping and spinner tests in addition to pumping well and VWP installation. Paul is a registered Chartered Geologist in both the UK and Europe and has published several papers and presented at international conferences on mine water management.
