Sam Tims

Sam Tims is a Geologist who provides consulting services to the mining industry.  His work focuses on geotechnical data collection and analysis; geotechnical domain characterization; 3D geological and geotechnical modelling; and mining operational support.

Sam has over 9 years of experience in the minerals industry. He has experience in production mining and contract management as a hydrogeologist in an arctic diamond mine. His specialty is field data collection and geotechnical characterization with experience gained over three continents. He is competent with 3D visualization and modelling software and uses these tools to create predictive rock mass models. As part of the Vancouver Geotechnics and Geology group, Sam assists with field data collection and analysis, and operational assistance for open pit and underground studies with strong practical experience.
