Sudipta De

Sudipta specialises in mining feasibility studies, planning of access, layout, ventilation equipment selection, and mining costs for underground coal mines. Prior to SRK, Sudipta worked for 19 years as operational mining engineer in various capacities and thereafter for five years in a multidisciplinary engineering house. As a consultant he has worked in a variety of projects like mine planning, feasibility studies, tailings dam and in different commodities including coal, limestone, and iron. In SRK he has been involved in a number of due diligence studies, advisory support in coal and mineral auctioning, bid advisory support to mine operators in both opencast and underground workings, operational health and safety (OHAS) hazard identification (HAZID) and risk assessment of operational mines. He has also carried out benchmarking studies of iron ore mines in India for the World Bank.
